First of all, never create a clickbait. You might get people to start reading your blog but as soon as they realize your title was clickbait with little or no relation to the actual blog, they lose their interest.
(Edit: for example. The title is: "Czars can trace their lineage back to Augustus! Many facts, pictures and relevant data?!" But you go on and talk about puppies and kitties. And that's not cool)

I make $2-$30 per month with blogging. It is not much but I'm working on it slowly.

This is the most popular way to monetize your blog. You need to create articles around the product you want to promote. Normally, people write a review article. Learning some principles of ad copy is a big advantage to generate sales, this way you will be one step ahead of your competition. 
(Edit: Like you want to promote newspapers. So, you talk about how the main stream media isn't all full of clickbaits and how it isn't in it for the views)

If your blog is quite interesting and has enough traffic, you could rent a space on your main page. Prices will depend on how popular your blog is and the size and positioning of the ads on your page. 

Your Own Products. 
After you have sold products you do not own, and if you want to go to the next level, you can create your own products, like courses or e-books for example.  
(Edit: I'm writing an e-book myself right now. And because I'm a nice person, I will let you read it for a reasonable price. The price being free! :D )

The only way to get those levels of traffic is through paid ads, using Facebook for example or promote your page in Twitter. Once you have reached that level, you can add ads through Google´s Adsense.
