Pasta is like eating “empty” calories?!? But Italian people eat it regularly and are very healthy?

About those empty calories. While pasta contains mainly carbohydrates, it also has protein in small amounts, and a serving of pasta in Italy isn't just pasta. It may include vegetables or meat as well, or cheese, butter, olive oil, and fresh herbs. All of those things have different nutritional profiles, including an assortment of vitamins and minerals. So while 70 grams of pasta may indeed have a lot of calories in comparison to, say, the same serving of grilled fish, it doesn't lack other kinds of nutrition, and is therefore not “empty”.

If you want to be healthy and stay in shape, think like an Italian. Eat more fresh foods and walk more.
Most people in Italy walk more than the average American. That contributes to a healthier population, as does universal health care, largely free at the point of service, with a health card.
