3 Year Old with Large Adenoid

When my child started going to kindergarten, he was constantly sick. He snored terribly at night. I couldn't sleep because it bothered me.
Constantly the nose was dull. And his coughs were frequent and lasted very long. We went to a doctor and he gave different medicines for both the cold and the coughs. But for a few days, the cold came back and the snoring got worse.
We went back to the doctor and he wanted us to have an X-ray. For that we had to go to the hospital. For some reason, I thought it was going to be horrible because my kid don't want to stay still and when you do an X-ray, you have to stay put. But luckily I was able to get my child to sit down fairly quick and he was a little bit scared but he didn't move. He sat there alone for a few seconds to do nose to x-ray.

We waited for a few hours and called the doctor. He said the adenoid was very large and sent us to an ENT doctor.
The doctor looked at us and said we needed surgery. Put us in the operating time record and before that we had to show the kid. The week before surgery, we had to go for a blood test. But unfortunately, our baby was able to get sick several times before and the operation was postponed several times.
On the day of surgery, there was nothing to eat or drink in the morning. And we went. The child was examined to see if he was still healthy and sent to the ward to wait. We were the second ones who went into surgery. The wait was terrible but even more horrible was the way he was taken down the elevator alone so I had to wait. Sad moment.
After the operation, he stayed awake for an hour and I had to calm him down. Finally, he fell asleep and when he woke up he wanted to drink immediately. After drinking he was much calmer and the doctor had to examine my child. Everything was fine but we had to stay in the hospital because the adenoid was quite large.

The next day we got home. Nothing special happened at home. He was in bed for several days and ate liquid and soft food. Lots of ice cream, of course.
