I have an aquarium addiction part 1

 Aquarium

It all started with a 54-liter aquarium. It felt so great. We got our first aquarium from a friend for free. A friend said that he didn't need it anymore. We knew nothing about keeping fishes. We got an empty aquarium. It was empty for a while but then we thought: Lets put some fishes inside.
A man's co-worker offered us his fishes. He didn't ask how big the aquarium was. He just gave us fishes. At that moment, we knew nothing about launching the aquarium and that the water would have to stand for several months before we can put fishes inside the aquarium.
We got our fishes. 3 Bala sharks and 1 red tail shark. We thought they were in the right environment. One day we filled the aquarium and the next day we put them in.
They were only 54 liters !! 14 gallons !!
First, we realized that the water does not smell good. And it seemed to us that the fishes were constantly hungry. We gave them food 3x a day! Because the water smelled bad,  we made the water change 100%! Since the water did not smell good, it did not seem okay to us and we started to ask in the forums, why water smells so bad. People asked about the size of the aquarium, whos in it, what the water parameters are.
When we told them we have 3 bala shark in our tank, they said that we are stupid. 1 bala shark need 200 liters( 56 gallons)

So we kinda killed our firsts fish. 

We started to learn how to keep an aquarium. First, we cleaned our aquarium, then we didn't put anything in the aquarium. And we waited for 2 months and added some live plants. When the aquarium parameters were fine we bought 5 corydoras. They were so cute! 

Time passed and all was going great. But then we decided to get a bigger aquarium!
